There is a fondness of the use of the term “gestalt”.
There has been questions as to what does it exactly mean and in what context is it being used in these prattlings.
The word "Gestalt" has no direct translation in English...
... but refers to "a way a thing has been gestellt ; i.e., 'placed,' or 'put together'"...
... i.e.viewed as "form" and "shape".
Gestalt theory is based on the basic principle that the whole is greater
than the sum of its parts.
In other words, the whole (a picture, a car) carried a different and altogether
greater meaning than its individual components
(paint, canvas, brush; or tire, paint, metal, etc).
In viewing the "whole," a leap (to use a word)….from the viewing as the sum of parts ....
....
to viewing the whole.
For example take the picture above.
It is essentially a collation of pixels on a computer screen.
Yet the mind cognizes it as young girl wearing a hat with a feather.
A shift in the gestalt and the same collation of pixels is cognized
as an old lady once again wearing a hat with a feather.
The use of the term gestalt in the context of noumenality and phenomenality....
.....is to allegorically point that the Noumenon is not something separate...
... apart to Phenomenon.
In and as apperception (which is a perceiving without a perceiver thereof)...
.
....nothing new or different has been perceived.
For there is nothing other or apart from Bozo.
The same gestalt of phenomenality ....
....when the split-mind shifts from a perceiving everything as individuated objects and separated events....
...AND...
.....believing in this gestalt of an array of separated objects....as so...
...is Noumenality.
Split mind and it's consequential gestalt of an array of individuated objects
and separated events......
....is not something other than the whole mind.
The drama of the last night-sleep dream ado, with it's numerous individuated characters, some lovable, some not-so lovable....
...appeared in you, existed in you, disappeared in you…
…they were all....nothing else but you...... expressed in the multiplicity as so.
While nothing of all that is you…….. you the one snoring away in a 6 X 4 cot.
