Once, during the High Holy Day services,
the Head Priest suddenly possessed by a wave of mystical rapture,
threw himself onto the ground before the idol of Devi,
and shouted...Devi, I'm Nothing!
Seeing this, profoundly moved the Assistant Priest,
and he too, threw himself down before the idol,
screaming...Devi, I'm Nothing!
Looking at all this throwing going about,
way in the back of the temple,
the Shudra sweeper, threw himself to the ground,
and he too shouted...Devi,I'm Nothing.,
Whereupon, the Head Priest turned to his assistant,
and whispered..Look who thinks he's Nothing.
